SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

  • Support persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including those with physical disability or medical and behavioral challenges
  • Assist Individuals with their daily activities, perform light housekeeping, run errands, and provide companionship
  • Provide a secure and responsive environment that enables Individuals to maximize their physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual capabilities
  • Provide independent living skills training, and guidance to residents regarding social skills, transportation, health and personal hygiene, food preparation, and housekeeping
  • Provide patient care, update records, and accurately complete forms
  • Transport and accompany to appointments, community events, and outings
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Successful candidates will have a passion for assisting others
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent
  • Medication Technician certification
  • Demonstrated ability to follow written and/or oral instructions, administer medications, and document dosages and times.
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
  • Willingness and ability to interact with clients and Individuals in a positive manner within and throughout the community.
