Overview:

As a Project Manager-OE, you will have overall responsibility for a business segment, ensuring cost efficiency, adherence to schedules, technical performance, and operational quality.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Participate in scoping sessions, produce estimates, negotiate proposals, manage subcontractor activities, and create production reports and schedules.
  • Coordinate with other project managers.
  • Review materials, approve submittals, and ensure compliance.
  • Enforce the company's safety program.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This role may involve supervising professional, technical, clerical, and/or labor staff to support projects.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Min. 5 years' construction experience with project management focus.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction or Project Management preferred.
  • Experience in Job Order Contracting, Line Item Estimating, and Corps of Engineer contracting.
  • Proficiency in estimating, cost control, and scheduling.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple construction contracts simultaneously.
  • Interpersonal skills to influence team members and subcontractors positively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Project, and E-mail).
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and able to work under minimal supervision.

Physical Demands:

Role may require occasional standing, walking, sitting, hand use, climbing stairs, etc. Must lift up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time, year-round role with competitive salary and benefits. Primarily office-based with some in-state travel as needed.
