Position Overview:
As a Construction Project Leader, you will oversee a specific business segment, ensuring efficiency in costs, adherence to timelines, technical performance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in project scoping sessions, generate estimates, negotiate contracts, manage subcontractor tasks, and develop production reports and schedules.
- Collaborate with fellow project managers.
- Examine materials, authorize submissions, and guarantee compliance.
- Implement the company's safety protocols.
Supervisory Duties:
This position may entail overseeing professional, technical, clerical, and/or labor personnel to facilitate project success.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction with a focus on project management.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Project Management is preferred.
- Experience with Job Order Contracting, Line Item Estimating, and Corps of Engineer contracts.
- Expertise in estimating, cost management, and scheduling.
Skills and Competencies:
- Outstanding communication and project management abilities.
- Capability to manage multiple construction contracts concurrently.
- Interpersonal skills to positively influence team members and subcontractors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, and Email).
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and effective in a team environment.
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.

No specific certifications required.
Physical Requirements:
This role may necessitate occasional standing, walking, sitting, manual dexterity, climbing stairs, etc. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time, year-round position offering a competitive salary and benefits. Primarily office-based with some travel required within the state.
