Compensation: $45 to $50/HR

Contract Duration: 11 months

Work Schedule: 8 AM - 5 PM

This role is associated with the Medium Voltage Drives sector.

We are seeking an Engineering Project Manager to oversee the management of engineering projects related to electric motors or drives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee projects ensuring successful execution and delivery.
  • Implement the project within specified parameters such as budget, timeline, and functionality.
  • Document the scope of the project to enhance success and mitigate risks.
  • Create comprehensive project plans along with necessary communication documents.
  • Utilize project management principles throughout all phases of the project.
  • Engage with project partners consistently to guarantee project completion.
  • Collaborate with the project team to assess required resources and participants for achieving project objectives.
  • Prepare and present progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  • Inform the Senior Project Manager of any scope changes and assist in formulating appropriate change order pricing.
  • Evaluate project performance using relevant systems, tools, and techniques, and report any identified issues.
  • Maintain meeting minutes and organize project documentation according to company standards.
  • Ensure accurate project records are kept in accessible locations for team members.
  • Promote business success and customer satisfaction while managing stakeholder relationships professionally.
  • Facilitate timely decisions on outstanding issues, escalating when necessary.
  • Manage a network of technical experts to deliver customer-specific components, systems, or solutions.
  • Coordinate engineering disciplines and collaborate with regional engineering units, including managing their interfaces.
  • Conduct technical risk assessments.
  • Act as the liaison to clients, responsible for identifying technical risks and opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in Project Management, including prior project management roles, a degree in project management, or related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering/technology or business preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Technical knowledge of electric motors or drives is advantageous, though not essential.
  • Strong record-keeping and communication abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on detail, multitasking, time management, and problem-solving.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
  • Experience with SAP is preferred.
