Shift: 8 AM - 5 PM

This role is situated within the Medium Voltage Drives sector.

We are seeking an Engineering Project Manager to oversee the management of engineering projects related to electric motors or drives.

  • Oversees projects ensuring successful execution and delivery.
  • Implements the project adhering to defined parameters such as budget, timeline, and functionality.
  • Documents the project scope to enhance success and mitigate risks.
  • Creates comprehensive project plans along with relevant communication documents.
  • Applies project management principles throughout all phases of project scope and outcomes.
  • Engages with project partners continuously to guarantee timely project delivery.
  • Collaborates with the project team to assess the resources and participants necessary for achieving project objectives.
  • Generates and presents progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  • Informs the Senior Project Manager of any scope changes and aids in developing suitable change order pricing.
  • Evaluates project performance utilizing appropriate systems, tools, and techniques, and alerts the Project Manager of any identified issues.
  • Records meeting minutes and organizes project documentation in line with factory standards.
  • Ensures accurate project records are kept accessible for project team members.
  • Promotes business success and customer satisfaction while ensuring effective stakeholder management.
  • Facilitates timely decision-making on unresolved issues, escalating when necessary.
  • Manages a network of technical specialists to deliver customer-specific components, systems, or solutions.
  • Coordinates engineering disciplines and collaborates with regional engineering units and their interfaces.
  • Conducts technical risk management.
  • Acts as the primary contact for clients, responsible for managing technical risks and opportunities.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in Project Management, including prior project management roles, a degree in project management, or related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree (engineering/technology or business preferred but not mandatory).
  • Technical knowledge of electric motors or drives is advantageous but not essential.
  • Exceptional record-keeping and communication abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on detail, multitasking, time management, and problem-solving.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
  • Experience with SAP is preferred.
