Position Overview:

As an Operations Project Manager, you will oversee a specific business segment, ensuring cost-effectiveness, adherence to timelines, technical excellence, and operational quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in project scoping sessions, generate estimates, negotiate contracts, manage subcontractor activities, and develop production reports and schedules.
  • Collaborate with fellow project managers.
  • Examine materials, approve submissions, and guarantee compliance.
  • Implement the company's safety protocols.

Supervisory Duties:

This position may involve overseeing professional, technical, clerical, and/or labor personnel to facilitate project success.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction with a focus on project management.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Project Management is preferred.
  • Experience with Job Order Contracting, Line Item Estimating, and Corps of Engineer contracting.
  • Expertise in estimating, cost management, and scheduling.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Outstanding communication and project management abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple construction contracts concurrently.
  • Interpersonal skills to positively influence team members and subcontractors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, and Email).
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and effective in a team environment.
  • Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

No specific certifications required.

Physical Requirements:

This role may necessitate occasional standing, walking, sitting, manual dexterity, climbing stairs, etc. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time, year-round position offering a competitive salary and benefits. Primarily office-based with some travel required within the state.
