Talent Sourcing Coordinator

Role Overview

The Talent Sourcing Coordinator collaborates with the Director of Human Resources to engage with potential job candidates, screen resumes, manage the company's candidate tracking system, review job descriptions, advertise job openings across platforms, and assist with various HR/recruiting duties.

Key Responsibilities

As a Talent Sourcing Coordinator, you will:
  • Attend necessary meetings
  • Utilize diverse search methods to source candidates and build a strong applicant pool
  • Review resumes and job applications, conduct phone screenings, and check references
  • Possibly advertise job descriptions and enhance the company's candidate tracking system
  • Coordinate recruitment for specific positions and update the recruiting tracker regularly
  • Ensure all applications are complete, compliant, and in line with regulations
  • Keep up-to-date on recruiting trends and best practices
  • Provide guidance throughout the interview, selection, and onboarding processes
  • Support the HR Director in recruiting and hiring efforts
Experience/Skills/Technologies:
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking and HRIS systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills such as conflict resolution, teamwork, and empathy
  • Excellent organization and time management abilities
  • Preferably, experience in Military Personnel Programs
  • Previous experience in recruiting for Government entities or contracts is a plus
  • Capacity to make independent decisions and raise important issues
  • Ability to manage diverse relationships with stakeholders
  • Understanding of interview techniques and applicant screening
  • Knowledge of human resources practices at a specialist level
  • Proactive and timely approach to recruiting processes
  • Familiarity with employment laws and regulations
  • Knowledge of various candidate sourcing channels
  • Experience with Google Business and program management systems
Education:
  • High School Diploma required
  • Preferably, post-secondary education
  • Background in Department of Defense operations is advantageous
