Job Summary

As part of the global GPC Talent Management team, the Organizational Design Specialist will work cross-functionally and collaboratively to support Talent initiatives that enhance the employee experience for our 62,000 global Genuine Parts Company teammates. The role will focus on organizational design and effectiveness efforts that positively impact business outcomes. This position will work across business units to align best practices and processes to drive GPC's strategy forward.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in efforts to implement and improve global organizational design and career development process and programs including, but not limited to: Job Analysis, Talent Management, Performance Management, Organizational Effectiveness, Assessment management, Career Frameworks and Career Pathing.
  • Develop and implement scalable organizational processes and systems that support improved current and future-state global organizational design.
  • Conduct research on best practices and advances in organizational design, organizational effectiveness, and talent management, provide recommendations to improve organizational efficiency and strategic impact.
  • Present ideas and best practices to enhance programs, processes, and procedures to drive global alignment.
  • Support in the implementations of the job design and career frameworks across business units. Identify areas of opportunity and drive change.
  • Partner with and influence global stakeholders going through the Job Design and Job Classification process.
  • Comfortable creating and translating reports into actionable insights.
  • Support the implementation and ongoing execution of global selection and assessment programs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Talent Management, Organizational Development, or related field.
  • 2-3 years related work experience, preferably in Human Resources, Talent Management, or Organizational Development.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Embraces a "OneGPC" mindset and considers all stakeholders, customers, and business units.
  • Demonstrated learning agility - ability to pick up new things quickly / desire to learn.
  • High degree of self-motivation and initiative in managing multiple projects, contributing towards group goals, and driving for results.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems in a rapidly changing and matrixed environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Talent Management, Organizational Development, or related field.
  • Comfortable using advanced data visualization or analysis tools.
  • Experience in HRIS, HCM systems (Workday).
  • Experience working within a global organization.
