Responsibilities

As the Director of Rooms at Kimpton Hotels, you will oversee the Front Office and Housekeeping operations, ensuring exceptional guest services aligned with hotel management guidelines. Some key responsibilities include:
  • Managing Guest Services departments to deliver outstanding guest experiences while adhering to financial standards.
  • Coordinating Front Office tasks and maintaining property interfaces.
  • Upholding high levels of guest service and addressing feedback from social media platforms.
  • Collaborating with other departments to enhance company standards and culture.
  • Conducting training sessions for department employees and providing mentoring and guidance as needed.
  • Supervising cross-functional departments like Security and Reservations when required.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years in management roles within the hospitality industry.
  • Preferably a Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills with a focus on integrity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Opera and Microsoft Office Suite is advantageous.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
