POSITION SUMMARY:
The Patient Care Technician is competent to perform both as a Unit Secretary or Certified Nursing Assistant.

The Patient Care Technician is flexible and may be assigned as a unit secretary, certified nursing assistant, or in a dual position where both skills are utilized simultaneously.

The Patient Care Technician performs these duties under the direction of the Charge Nurse/Clinical Manager.

Requirements:

  • Emergency Medical Technician, State of California CNA License, Medical Assistant or Paramedic; and
  • Basic Life Support (CPR); and
  • Medical Terminology class or one (1) year experience in medical related field.
  • New hires are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, no later than the first day of work, unless employee requests and El Centro Regional Medical Center grants an exemption to the COVID-19 vaccination requirement as a reasonable accommodation for employee's disability or sincerely held religious belief, practice, or observance.

Position Pay Range:
$ $25.18/hour


In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Act, El Centro Regional Medical Center (ECRMC) posts the pay range for all jobs.

Please note that actual pay will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

Please also note this range is applicable for employees who reside in California only. A geographical pay differential may be applied for remote employees who reside out of state.
