ABOUT THIS POSITION
We are recruiting for a Senior Program Manager to join our rapidly growing Digital Solutions team located in the Minneapolis, MN location. In this role, you will be responsible for defining, planning, and executing on a wide variety of software development projects. As a subject matter expert, you will lead cross-functional teams of engineers, analysts, business intelligence developers, data scientists, product managers, and executives to deliver results that will have a direct impact on the bottom line of the company and improve the quality life for our patients.
OPPORTUNITIES YOU WILL HAVE IN THIS ROLE
- Manages planning and communication with other functions (marketing, quality, regulatory, design assurance, manufacturing, etc.), as applicable, as it relates to project initiatives, policies, etc. Ensures projects and associated issues are effectively resolved while representing the best interests of patients, customers, and Inspire
- Possess thorough knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc. Coaches the team on how to follow agile scrum principles.Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques including sprint reports, sprint burn-down charts, sprint success metrics and overall project story point burn-up.
- Manages cost, schedule, and performance of component projects while ensuring ultimate success of the program. Presents periodic status reports on current initiatives to the executive management.
- Hands-on with project documentation creating and/or oversees creation of project deliverables following medical device QMS, FDA Design Controls and IEC Examples include software development plans, software/system requirements specifications, software change reports, software release documents and outstanding anomalies documentation.
- Organizes the coordination of activities with outside suppliers and consultants to ensure timely delivery
WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO OUR GREAT TEAM
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Software, Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of progressive experience in a similar role as a Software Development Project/Program manager and/or Project/Program Manager
- Demonstrated experience utilizing project management tracking/software tools and reporting deliverables
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders and senior leadership
Preferred:
- Advanced level degree in Engineering, Software, Computer Science, or related discipline
- Previous development experience in .NET, C#, and/or Python
- PMP/PMI and/or Agile certification
- Experience with Agile methodology, roles, and responsibilities
- Experience with Cloud development in Azure and/or AWS
- IEC 62304 experience
- Medical device experience
