The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic insights to support business growth. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of manufacturing finance.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial operations of the manufacturing company, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare and present accurate financial statements and reports to management and the parent company.
  • Develop and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, financial regulations, and internal policies.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Coordinate audits and provide necessary documentation and support to auditors.
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditures.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with various departments (e.g., operations, procurement, sales) to align financial goals and objectives.
  • Supervise and mentor the finance team, ensuring continuous development and high performance.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and analysis for the parent company, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing finance, cost accounting, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in using financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, accounting software).
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.

Preferred Skills:

  • CPA, CMA, or other relevant certifications.
  • Advanced degree preferred (MBA, Master's in Finance) or relevant professional certifications.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
