Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting and controls.
  • Maintain company accounting procedures in conformance with generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Develop and implement financial planning and budgeting processes to support business objectives.
  • Lead the monthly financial close process and ensure timely completion of financial reports.
  • Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget and prior year.
  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of general ledger accounting, cost accounting, budgeting, and internal control principles in a manufacturing environment.
  • CPA license a plus.
  • Experience in ERP reporting systems (Infor XA is a plus).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate teams to produce quality results within tight timeframes.
  • Strong MS Office skill set, especially Excel.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics required. Master's degree a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in a manager-level accounting position in a manufacturing environment.
