Role Overview:

The Business Systems Analyst role focuses on providing essential business analysis services to the company. It involves collaborating closely with various business units and vendors to facilitate the conversion or development of documents for a new lease/loan management system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transforming or creating documents compatible with a new loan/lease management system.
  • Conducting thorough analysis of legacy templates to determine areas requiring dynamic content and detailing the business logic supporting it.
  • Understanding the primary business objectives of the documents.
  • Mapping business logic to Odessa terminology.
  • Defining expressions using Odessa terminology and integrating appropriate tags into the document template.
  • Applying systems analysis methodologies to establish specifications in consultation with users.
  • Engaging with vendors, sister company personnel, and internal subject matter experts.

Desired Skills & Experience:

Essential:

  • Proficiency in comprehension and development of moderately complex SQL statements, procedures, and views.
  • Experience with SQL, XML/XSL, MS Word, and creating reports or documents.
  • Ability to work independently with considerable autonomy.
  • Capacity to adapt swiftly to evolving business requirements.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience supporting Financial applications.
  • Background in the Financial Service sector.
