Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as Senior Quality Manager for government programs
  • Plan, develop, implement, and manage Quality throughout program life cycles
  • Translate operational and mission needs into practical system concepts and specifications
  • Review system performance and assess risks, making recommendations for product acceptability
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and recommend changes when necessary
  • Evaluate testing plans, procedures, and reports, ensuring effective root cause corrective actions
  • Conduct audits of contractor quality management systems and processes
  • Work on improving contractors' quality systems and processes
  • Provide Product Assurance Suitability Statement for material release
  • Maintain quality data and metrics
Required Qualifications, Certifications, Skills, and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 15+ years of relevant experience
  • Subject matter expert for Quality
  • Ability to lead Quality efforts with minimal oversight
  • DoD Secret Clearance
Desired Qualifications, Certifications, Skills, and Experience:
  • Quality Auditing Experience
  • Experience equivalent to DAWIA Level III PQM certification
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
