Core Responsibilities:
  • Implement quality principles across various domains including design, incoming materials, production oversight, product assessment, program performance, reliability, inventory management, and research and development.
  • Conduct technical evaluations encompassing product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and clients on quality-related matters to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Participate in product failure investigations, material review board decisions, and corrective/preventive actions, ensuring that corrective measures meet reliability standards and compliance requirements.
  • Develop strategies and systems aimed at enhancing internal and supplier performance and productivity.
  • Assess quality systems for deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
  • Design and analyze inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment; conduct product quality tests, and perform statistical analyses to evaluate products or materials that do not meet established standards and specifications.
  • Engage in the supplier selection process and maintain certification programs.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with 6+ years of experience.
  • Eligibility to obtain a secret clearance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Preferred Skills:
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with a minimum of 9 years in Production Operations or Technical Operations engineering; or a Master's degree in a STEM field with 7 years of experience.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across various functional and program organizations.
  • Demonstrated leadership in projects and teams.
  • Experience with different program life cycles.
  • Familiarity with SAP ERP Systems.
  • Experience in production environments and with suppliers.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing work instructions and supplier interactions.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
  • Experience with AS9100/ISO 9000 standards.
  • FMEA experience.
  • Expertise in counterfeit material prevention.
  • Strong background in design improvements, manufacturability considerations, and corrective action boards.
  • Quality flowdown experience.
Security Clearance Statement: This position necessitates a government security clearance; candidates must be U.S. citizens for consideration.

Work Environment: This role requires full-time onsite presence at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedule: Lockheed Martin offers various flexible work schedules, including standard 40-hour weeks and condensed schedules, providing employees with additional time away from the office in addition to paid time off benefits.
