Job Description

Scout's Talent Acquisition Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the People and Culture team. Your mission? With Scout experiencing rapid growth following its acquisition by Brookfield Renewables' Global Transition Fund, the need for effective talent acquisition is at an all-time high. This growth phase presents an exciting opportunity to expand our project portfolio.

What will you be doing in this role? Here are the key areas of focus:

  • Prepare and post job adverts, work on candidate sourcing, conduct screenings, and provide recommendations during early-stage candidate selection.
  • Manage interview processes, administer assessments, collect feedback, and ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Coordinate external recruitment relationships and manage travel logistics for interviews and new hires.
  • Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to streamline recruitment workflows and enhance data reporting.
  • Collaborate on New Hire pre-onboarding activities and continuously improve processes.
  • Support job fairs and networking events to connect with potential talent.

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
  • 1+ years of experience in talent acquisition, people-focused, or coordinator roles.
  • Passion for clean energy and sustainability.
  • Ability to type at least 60 words per minute and maintain confidentiality in sensitive situations.
  • Growth mindset, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and strong communication skills.
  • Prior experience with recruitment or HR systems is a plus.

Fit into the organization by possessing excellent communication, project management, and team-building abilities, alongside the capacity to influence outcomes and collaborate across different functions.

Desirable personal and leadership traits include confidence, receptiveness, and the ability to inspire trust and collaboration.

Timeline and Location

This temporary role aims to support Summer 2024 hiring efforts. Ideal candidates should be able to work from our Boulder office on weekdays between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm.
