Facilities Representative (temp) in Fremont, CA.
Position Overview
This is a temporary position.
The
Facilities Representative (temp) will be responsible for assisting with the organization, documentation and relocation of important and confidential documents from the current temporary location to the new corporate headquarters facility.
Role and Responsibilities
Relocation and Setup:
- Assist in the relocation of office files, records and supplies within the facility.
- Set up and organize all transported materials as directed.
- Ensure proper placement and alignment of office furniture according to floor plans and instructions.
Safety and Compliance:
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while moving and setting up new office.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations regarding workplace safety and ergonomics.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Executive team to plan and execute moving projects.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth transitions during moves.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
- Physical demands include lifting, carrying, and moving heavy items.
- The role may require standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.
- Work may be performed in various environments, including offices, warehouses, and storage facilities.
