Preferred Background: Candidates should possess a background in Engineering or Construction Management, with a professional history in construction, particularly within Industrial or power sectors. Experience in solar construction, electrical systems, and utilities is highly desirable.

Role Responsibilities:

The Project Construction Supervisor will serve as the Owner's representative, overseeing all facets of plant and facility construction. This includes managing interconnects, site work, owner-purchased materials, safety protocols, startup and commissioning processes, and project closeout activities. The individual will be responsible for the overall management of the team and assigned projects, ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints, scheduling, and safety standards.

  • Oversee project operations, ensuring adherence to corporate safety and quality standards throughout all site activities.
  • Collaborate with resources and subcontractors across various disciplines to establish project priorities, schedules, and work plans that align with milestones.
  • Work with the site team to maintain cleanliness and enforce safety protocols.
  • Manage subcontractors in accordance with contractual obligations as the primary manager and administrator.
  • Supervise onsite company representatives (Inspectors).
  • Provide regular reports on progress, key indicators, and recovery plans to upper management.
  • Ensure projects are executed efficiently, effectively, and safely, in line with departmental procedures, local regulations, contracts, and policies.
  • Verify constructability, ensure appropriate resource allocation, assess field conditions, and resolve issues as necessary.
  • Lead project meetings, reviewing budgets, schedules, quality metrics, risk assessments, and contingency plans.
  • Interface with designated management committees or third parties, acting as the lead company representative for project activities.
  • Ensure compliance with SWPPP and stormwater regulations and procedures.
  • Manage execution requirements as stipulated in relevant agreements to achieve project milestones.
  • Conduct walk-downs of planned work, validate acceptance of completed work against design requirements, and approve contractor payment requests.
  • Oversee contractors to ensure adherence to project schedules throughout the construction lifecycle until closeout.
  • Supervise or coordinate activities related to safety programs, engineering, construction, budgeting, and contract administration.
  • Oversee commissioning activities to meet corporate objectives, with limited project management, scheduling, and estimating resources.
  • Willingness to travel between projects as required.
  • Expected to be onsite daily while construction activities are ongoing.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
