KEMET, a YAGEO company, is currently seeking a Human Resources Representative in our Fort Lauderdale, Florida location. This is an onsite position and supports the HR functions, providing HR guidance / assistance to employees and managers and driving HR projects as assigned.

Responsibilities included but not limited to the following:

  • Provide support and guidance to employees and managers who are located at the local office and in other U.S. locations
  • Drive recruitment activities
  • Coordinate and conduct onboarding activities both locally and virtually in other U.S. locations
  • Manage the office administrative duties as required
  • Coordinate and lead employee meetings, events, trainings, etc.
  • Provide HR support to company locations outside of the Fort Lauderdale office as assigned
  • Coordinate local training activities (including training tracking and metrics)
  • Assist with compliance requirements and activities as requested
  • Reports to and works closely with the HR Director on HR activities, initiatives, and projects.
  • Other duties related to Human Resources and administrative office duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field and 3 - 5 years of experience in Human Resources (preferred); HR certification is a plus.
  • Willing and able to work onsite full time in our Fort Lauderdale office.
  • Demonstrated computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
  • Proven leadership capability with excellent interpersonal skills and experience with conflict resolution
  • Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Able to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, and creativity to changing needs and situations.
  • Strong organizational skills with high degree of attention to detail
  • Willing and able to complete all required tasks from the daily/mundane to complex in a timely manner.
