Human Resources Assistant

The Palace Group, a luxury senior living community, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join its team at the Palace at Weston. As a key member of the HR department, you will play a vital role in supporting the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of our team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule interviews, testing, and pre-screening of candidates
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR information systems, personnel records, and legally required records
  • Develop and implement new team member building orientation and employee retention strategies
  • Process payroll and manage employee benefits
  • Plan and coordinate team-building events and activities
  • Prepare and submit monthly reports on overdue and due tasks
  • Ensure compliance with company personnel policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • At least 1+ years of administrative experience
  • AA degree preferred, with a Bachelor's degree in progress
  • Strong organizational, follow-up, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to express ideas and concepts effectively in individual and group settings
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of initiative and self-directed action
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
