Activities & Responsibilities

Primary:

  • Promote and act in line with Sassy Bass's mission
  • Clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment using dishwashers or by hand
  • Maintain dishwasher cleanliness and report any issues promptly
  • Ensure sanitary wash cycles by monitoring dishwasher water temperature
  • Keep adequate levels of cleaning supplies and detergents
  • Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage
  • Maintain cleanliness in kitchen areas
  • Sort and dispose of trash properly
  • Keep garbage cans clean
  • Assist with various tasks as needed to uphold guest service standards

Supplemental:

  • Set up banquet tables
  • Prepare individual place settings

Tools & Technology

  • Commercial dishwashers, glasswashers, power washers
  • Sinks, draining racks, and soap dispensing brushes
  • Wet mops, trash compactors, and hand trucks
  • Handheld thermometers

Qualifications

  • Prior knowledge of food service regulations is a plus
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and machines relevant to the role
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of handling heavy objects and standing for extended periods
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
