We are seeking an experienced and driven

Strategic Marketing Manager

to support development and accelerate execution of our strategic growth plan within our consumer science business unit.


As a Strategic Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in defining the future and strengthening partnerships and loyalty with long-term customers who are manufacturing high-volume consumer products.

You will be central player on the team for building market intelligence that drives direction of the business segment.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced and global organization at the forefront of providing high-quality solutions to that make the world safer, healthier, and more productive.

Ideally, this individual will be based in the greater Atlanta area or greater Richmond (VA) area.

Responsibilities:
Strategy Development

Conduct thorough primary and secondary market research to understand industry trends, customer behaviors, and the competitive landscape.
Gather and analyze customer data and insights to inform business strategy

Develop keen understanding of competitor capabilities and strategies, leveraging this insight to anticipate market shifts and position our brand advantageously.

Analyze market landscapes and consumer trends to identify unique opportunities for differentiation.

Work closely with product development to ensure new products meet market needs.

Customer Partnerships


Establish a systematic feedback loop where customer feedback is continuously collected, analyzed, and acted upon to improve products, services, and customer experiences.

Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends and innovations, continuously seeking out new and creative ways to engage customer audiences and promote win-win product or service offerings.

Develop a content strategy that supports marketing objectives, including thought leadership and educational material that adds value to the customer experience.

Outline methodologies that enable KAM and supporting team to effectively identify, understand, expand audience and engage with customers in a manner that maximizes business opportunities.

Value Proposition

Own creation and deployment of compelling value propositions to customer-facing teams, ensuring that all marketing materials and content clearly communicate the unique benefits and features of our products and services, aligning with customer needs and expectations.

Articulate service model benefits in decreasing complexity and increasing supply reliability.
Expertly align product features, customer benefits, and marketing messages to communicate unique selling points clearly and persuasively. Ensure product offerings are differentiated and stand out in a crowded marketplace.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, marketing, life sciences) is preferred.

Proven experience in sales, marketing, product management or in a similar customer-facing role within the consumer-packaged goods or mass market retail.

Understanding of the consumer-packaged goods industry and its unique challenges.
Ability to dissect complex data sets and derive actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain effective relationships with internal team and clients.

Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think strategically and analytically.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficiency in SalesForce and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel 10+% as needed.
