JOB OVERVIEW:

As an Officer at the resort, your primary responsibility is to ensure a safe and secure environment, maintain peace, and intervene in actual violations for resolution purposes. You will be patrolling the premises to spot any potential breaches of conduct, safety regulations, or legal codes at the county, state, federal, or municipal levels. The role demands flexibility to work varying shifts encompassing days and evenings.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Provide initial medical assistance and act as a first responder in emergencies
  • Investigate and document incidents related to crime, medical emergencies, or traffic
  • Identify trends, devise preventative strategies, and conduct safety inspections and drills
  • Offer expert testimony in legal matters related to the resort
  • Handle lost property, issue department keys, monitor surveillance systems, and perform office tasks
  • Follow resort policies and procedures diligently
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to obtain a Private Security License and fulfill state requirements
  • Certifications in Basic Life Support (CPR) and First Aid
  • Proficiency in English communication and basic computer skills
  • Valid Texas Driver's License
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Independent work capability
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic math skills
Physical & Mental Requirements:
  • Physical stamina for standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Manual dexterity and ability to handle various tasks
  • Vision acuity for detailed tasks and safety measures
  • Specific uniform requirements for slip-resistant footwear
