Join our team as a Patient Access Representative I at McLaren Health Care. Your role involves completing tasks accurately and timely while maintaining quality and productivity standards.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Complete all assigned tasks accurately and promptly
  • Respond professionally to customers' needs
  • Effective cooperation and communication with team members
  • Contribute to continuous quality improvement efforts
  • Seek guidance as needed from supervisors for assigned tasks

Qualifications:

Minimum:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 6 months of experience in Patient Access, Medical Billing, or Customer Service
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Familiarity with Window-based applications and 10-key calculators
  • Flexibility for travel between clinics for float positions

Preferred:

  • Associate Degree in Health Care, Finance, or related field
  • Certification in medical billing, coding, or related area
  • Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding
  • 1 year of experience in Revenue Cycle
