Our client, a highly prestigious national law firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to join its Long Beach offices. In this role, you will:
- Support attorneys with case management, document preparation, and legal research.
- Prepare and file legal documents including motions, briefs, discovery requests, and subpoenas.
- Manage case files by organizing documents, evidence, and other materials.
- Manage deadlines for court filings, hearings, and other key dates.
- Assist in trial preparation, including compiling trial binders, exhibits, and witness lists.
- Conduct research to gather relevant case law, statutes, and other legal precedents.
Key Qualifications of Litigation Legal Assistant:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a litigation legal assistant.
- Proficiency in legal research and electronic filing systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software applications.
