  • The successful candidate will leverage multiple tools to develop and integrate a data analytics platform in support of the Commercial Liquids Optimization business.
  • This data analytics platform will provide the basis for daily tank volume management, crude blend quality analysis, and overall system volume reconciliation.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy for seamless access and integration of multiple external data sources that aligns with identified Commercial business objectives for crude marketing optimization.
  • Digital transformation of work processes through innovation and leveraging technological resources
  • Implement software solution for intelligent data capture and extraction from multiple sources, including third party statements.
  • Partner with cross-functional SME team to design and implement data analytics tools which will support daily commercial operations, Volume/Tank analysis, Terminal/System volume reconciliation, Blend quality analysis, Loss control
  • Prioritize deliverables and balance multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Lead change management efforts including the development and delivery of training materials and associated process documentation to ensure business continuity.

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Management Information Systems , or a related field, or foreign equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience with data and system integration.
  • 3+ years of experience with data analytics tools (i.e., Excel, PDF parsing software, Spotfire ).
  • 3+ years of experience with data modeling, data warehousing and working with structured and unstructured data to extract necessary data elements.

Preferred:

  • 1+ years of experience with data visualization tools (e.g . Access, Tableau, PowerBI )
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Generates effective solutions based on available information and makes timely decisions that are safe and ethical.
  • Listens actively and invites dialogue to gain a shared understanding, then influences and acts to drive performance and achieve business results.
  • Builds strong relationships based on trust and seeks opportunities to collaborate across the matrix/organizational boundaries to achieve business goals.
