Job Title: Administrative Manager at Daisy Orange County Branch

Overview:

Daisy is a reputable national company specializing in smart space installation and services, aimed at simplifying smart home and office technology to enhance efficiency and improve the lives of our customers. We are currently looking for a skilled and proactive Administrative Manager to join our Leadership Team, overseeing daily operations and contributing to the growth strategy of the Daisy Orange County Branch. Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, this role involves managing Finance, Bookkeeping, HR, Administration, and Purchasing functions to drive organizational excellence and efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Human Resources (HR):

  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and employee orientation for top talent acquisition.
  • Maintain compliance with labor laws and internal HR policies.
  • Manage employee relations, resolving conflicts and promoting a positive workplace culture.
  • Oversee payroll and benefits administration with precision.
  • Develop and implement effective HR policies and procedures.

Administration:

  • Supervise contract preparation and management to ensure legal compliance.
  • Manage insurance policies, renewals, and claims processing.
  • Ensure timely renewal of business licenses and certifications.
  • Strategically organize meetings, events, and appointments for optimal efficiency.
  • Implement office procedures and policies to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Manage overall asset oversight and compliance.

Bookkeeping:

  • Ensure accuracy of financial records and oversee general ledger maintenance.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable for timely financial transactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements to maintain financial integrity.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports regularly.
  • Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasts, and tax filings.

Finance:

  • Oversee the organization's financial health with strong management practices.
  • Develop and enforce budgets aligned with organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with auditors during financial audits for transparency.

Purchasing:

  • Direct procurement processes, including strategic sourcing and negotiations.
  • Oversee acquisition of equipment, supplies, and services.
  • Manage inventory levels for operational readiness.
  • Cultivate relationships with suppliers and monitor performance.

Additional Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, HR, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of administrative management experience.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in office software and financial tools.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and HR practices.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Interest in growth, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Negotiation skills and vendor relationship management.
  • High level of accountability and confidentiality.
