Position Description:

The Substance Abuse Counselor offers direct counseling and case management services to patients, which include individual and group sessions, assessments, customized treatment plans, counseling, and aftercare services. The Counselor will align with the Company's vision and mission.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain caseload according to State Regulations
  • Conduct psychosocial assessments for incoming patients
  • Develop and update treatment plans for patients
  • Prepare aftercare transition plans for patients
  • Adhere to State Licensure Standards, 42 CFR, HIPAA, and Company policies

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field
  • Master's degree is preferred
  • CSAC certification or eligible for CSAC supervision
