Position: Recovery Support Staff / Community Service Associate I (Full-Time)
A dedicated Recovery Support Professional is sought for a women's inpatient substance abuse treatment facility. This role is crucial in providing support and guidance to residents as they navigate their recovery journey.
The organization is a reputable non-profit behavioral health entity committed to prioritizing patient care and offering a comprehensive range of services across various settings, including outpatient, inpatient, and crisis stabilization.
This position focuses on a newly established residential treatment program designed specifically for women, accommodating up to 12 residents for a maximum of 120 days. Notably, mothers with young children may have up to two infants residing with them during their treatment.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage range: $16.54 to $24.82 (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities
- Full-time commitment: 40 hours per week
- Collaborate with treatment center staff to deliver recovery support and educational resources to residents
- Complete and uphold training/certification in CPR, first aid, and medication administration
- Occasionally transport clients to external appointments
- Work schedule may include evening and weekend shifts as needed
- Typical shifts are structured as 4x10s
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Familiarity with CPR, First Aid, medication administration, substance abuse issues, and local public agencies
- Ability to successfully complete CPR and First Aid training and maintain certification, as well as medication administration training
- Proficient in working with diverse individuals, managing challenging behaviors, and performing effectively under stress
- Valid Virginia Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record
