We are Hiring: Application Architect at Penn Wharton Budget Model
Job Summary
Wharton School, a pioneer in business education since 1881, is shaping the future of business leaders. The Penn Wharton Budget Model (PWBM) is a non-partisan initiative that offers policymakers valuable insights on economic and budgetary decisions. Join our team to work on implementing economic models, managing cloud resources, and contributing to policy analysis.
Responsibilities
- Solve complex technical challenges related to economic models
- Maintain software quality and data integrity
- Implement Agile software development practices
- Manage cloud infrastructure
- Assist in strategic planning and budgeting
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience in software engineering
- Proficiency in Python and cloud services
- Experience in Agile development
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of ETL pipelines
- Background in economics or public policy (preferred)
