As the Credit Collections Manager at nVent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring credit and collections operations across our regional offices. With your expertise in credit management and collections, you will lead a team of dedicated professionals and drive outstanding results. Your experience in credit risk assessment and collections strategies will be key to our continued success.

In this position, you will get to:

  • Lead the people, processes, systems and controls related to extending credit to nVent's customers.
  • Implement and maintain regional strategies that balance the need to support sales opportunities with sound risk and collection practices.
  • Participate in finance and business reviews of portfolio performance with insights to risks and risk mitigation planning.
  • Provide technical analysis and guidance for complex credit and collections issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Provide timely forecasts and analyses of collections and portfolio risks and reserve requirements.
  • Regularly interact with and report to segment CFOs regarding current risks/opportunities, analysis of the monthly results and communication of future month forecasts.
  • Interpret performance measures to ensure operations are within scope of organizational expectations and objectives.
  • Assist sales and finance teams with customer negotiations for terms and conditions of sales.
You have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Management preferred
  • 5+ years leading credit and collections teams in a business-to-business, preferably in manufacturing and/or distribution environment
  • Ideally 6+ years of B2B credit risk analysis and collections experience.
  • ERP Systems experience such as: Get Paid, SAP, JDE, and/or Infor M3 preferred
