Air Conditioning Equipment Mechanic Leader

Duties
As an Air Conditioning Equipment Mechanic Leader, the ideal candidate must have:
- **Journeyman level knowledge** of advanced principles and theories of air conditioning, refrigeration, heating, and ventilation
- Knowledge of installing valves, heating and cooling dampers, motors in complex integrated systems
- Ability to repair and troubleshoot a variety of compressors and refrigerant and heating controls
- Knowledge and use of the Building Automation Systems (BAS) and basic computer skills
- Knowledge of industry standard calibration equipment for complex systems
Requirements
Conditions of Employment:
- All employees must wear face masks as required
- A one-year probationary period may be required
- Must successfully complete a background investigation
- Public Trust - Background Investigation will be required
- Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment
- Must possess a Universal license for refrigeration
