We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Noblis MSD. As a Mechanical Engineer Submarine AC&R, you will be responsible for designing, evaluating, and testing mechanical equipment and systems for commercial, government, military, and scientific uses.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop mechanical systems and equipment for submarines, including air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Evaluate and test mechanical systems and equipment to ensure they meet performance and safety standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement mechanical system designs.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, manuals, and reports.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in mechanical systems and equipment.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- At least 10 years of experience in mechanical system design, repair, installation, modification, operation, maintenance, and testing.
- Active DoD security clearance at SECRET level or ability to obtain one.
- Experience with equipment design principles, 2D/3D engineering design and manufacturing tools, and documentation development.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
