We are seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at LGSTX Services, Inc. in Philadelphia. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of all Ground Support Equipment (powered and non-powered).
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on GSE, including inspections, troubleshooting, and component replacement
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues with GSE
- Ensure all GSE is properly maintained and serviced to meet safety and regulatory standards
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve maintenance goals
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of GSE systems and components
- High school diploma or equivalent required; formal technical training or certification preferred
- 3+ years of experience in industrial or commercial maintenance, with a focus on GSE or heavy equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicles
- Basic computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office products
- Experience with arc and/or mig welding, troubleshooting, and repair of gas and diesel engines
- Ability to change light and heavy-duty tires and wheels
- Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems and battery-operated equipment
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
