Role Summary:
This position involves overseeing and managing various employee benefit programs to ensure they align with the organization's strategic goals and comply with legal regulations. The role focuses on benefits such as medical and dental coverage, retirement plans, disability insurance, wellbeing initiatives, voluntary benefits, and more.
Key Position Details:
- This is a remote position open to applicants in MN or WI
- Focus areas include wellbeing, voluntary, and recognition benefit plans
Main Responsibilities:
- Contribute to creating a benefits strategy that aligns with the business strategy while ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
- Play a key role in designing benefits plans and programs.
- Analyze cost and trend data to provide actionable recommendations.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes to suggest compensation adjustments.
- Devise communication strategies for benefit programs.
- Act as the final point of contact for complex benefits issues.
- Evaluate and recommend vendors through requests for proposals.
- Manage vendors by reviewing contracts, assessing performance, analyzing costs, and ensuring compliance.
- Assess the impact of mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures on employee benefit plans.
- Help prepare materials for committee meetings and potentially attend these meetings.
- Collaborate with Total Rewards leaders to provide support across functions.
- Perform other assigned duties.
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in benefits management.
Sedentary work involving lifting up to 10 lbs. occasionally and negligible weight frequently.
