Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Client Relationship Consultant to enhance our Employee Benefits team. The ideal candidate will excel in a collaborative setting, possess strong interpersonal communication skills, and have a passion for continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Service Management:
    Oversee all facets of client accounts, ensuring robust relationships at the executive level and articulating complex strategies to partners.
  • Service Scope Development:
    Define and manage the scope of services for each client, focusing on healthcare strategies and financial planning.
  • Communication and Updates:
    Keep clients informed about new product offerings, capabilities, and compliance updates.
  • Insurance Review:
    Evaluate existing insurance coverage and identify future needs, implementing growth strategies to enhance revenue.
  • Project Management:
    Coordinate timelines and tasks, ensuring clarity on responsibilities and milestones for projects.
  • Proposal Drafting:
    Create and manage complex Requests for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring timely responses from insurance carriers and negotiating as necessary.
  • Client Presentations:
    Prepare and deliver tailored presentations and communications for client employee populations.
  • Financial Oversight:
    Manage client financial budgets and review relevant financial reports, providing regular updates on health plan tracking.
  • Compliance Assistance:
    Support clients in adhering to HIPAA, ERISA, PPACA, and other compliance regulations.
  • Community Engagement:
    Promote a positive image of the company and the insurance industry through community involvement.

Vendor Relations:
Build strong relationships with insurance carriers and vendors, identifying opportunities for strategic partnerships to enhance service delivery.

Team Leadership:
Mentor and guide Consultant/Account Managers, fostering professional development and collaboration within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or HR Management or equivalent experience.
  • Active Life & Health Insurance agent's license or ability to obtain within three months.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in life/health, employee benefits, or provider organizations.
