Hennepin Healthcare, a leading public healthcare system, is seeking a highly skilled Psychiatrist to join our Consultation-Liaison Service team. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert psychiatric care to patients with complex medical and psychiatric conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide psychiatric consultations to patients throughout the medical and surgical units of the hospital
- Collaborate with Hennepin County Medical Center PGY-ll psychiatry residents and PGY-l medical interns to provide integrated care
- Participate in morning teaching rounds and weekly journal club to stay up-to-date on the latest psychiatric knowledge
- Supervise residents and students on their assigned consultations
- Provide weekend admissions coverage for the inpatient psychiatry unit
- MD or equivalent foreign degree
- Completion of medical residency program in Psychiatry
- Board certified / Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Current license to practice medicine in the State of Minnesota (or eligibility)
