Description:
Assist customers/clients with patient information and medication therapies.
Process out on pass, refill orders, special delivery requests, patient discharge orders, etc.
Facilitate communication between Pharmacist and physician offices.
Speak with patient care representatives and physician offices to facilitate information.
Utilize judgement in knowing when to escalate issues to the management level.
Use programs such as Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Word, etc.
Perform other tasks as needed/assigned.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
GED or High School diploma
1 year of direct client communication or customer service
strong data entry and computer skills
Pharmacy technician certificate is a plus
Great communication skills
prior pharmacy experience is preferred
Shift:
Monday -Thursday: 11:15am-7pm
Sunday 9-6pm.
Experience Level:
Intermediate Level
