Summary

LesserEvil is an innovative, healthy-snacks brand looking to add a bilingual (English + Spanish) Talent Acquisition Coordinator to our growing team.

This role is integral to LesserEvil's growth by working at the front line of sourcing, attracting and interviewing prospective candidates who align with LesserEvil's culture.

Additionally, this role will manage the bid board process and support LesserEvil's track record of promoting from within.

A successful candidate for this role has excellent communication skills, isn't afraid to ask questions, is constantly looking for impactful improvement to internal processes, works well independently and as a team.

This individual will work on-site at our Danbury, CT office and report to the Director, People + Culture.

Role/Responsibilities
Ownership of recruitment and onboarding functions for all new hires.

These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Developing recruiting pipelines with partnership organizations and representing LesserEvil at job fairs and recruiting/brand awareness events.
Managing LesserEvil's Recruitment presence on online job boards (ex. LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.)
Scheduling interviews for candidates with hiring managers
Facilitating employee onboarding sessions, with a focus on company culture and safety policies.
Managing the bid board process for internal promotions and classification changes for current employees.

Effectively running the bi-weekly staffing meeting by working closely with department leaders and the Director, People + Culture to identify current staffing needs while also planning for future needs.

Managing LesserEvil's database of job descriptions and updating as roles evolve and business needs change.

Supporting the People + Culture Team during yearly open enrollment for benefits and monthly benefits enrollment for employees reaching the end of their 90-day introductory period.

Providing support to staff when sensitive questions and issues arise. Escalating issues as needed.
Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Utilizing a continuous improvement mindset by recommending improvements to processes and procedures.
Performing other related duties as assigned and special projects as designated.

Qualifications:
Bilingual verbal communication (English and Spanish) is required
Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred or equivalent work experience
1-2+ years of human resource experience, preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Eligibility Requirements
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Must be willing to work in Danbury, CT
Must have a reliable vehicle as frequent trips between factory, warehouse, and office will be necessary
