Senior Sourcing Manager - Marketing ProcurementExpedia has an opportunity for a Sr. Sourcing Manager to join our global marketing procurement team.

By building positive relationships with the marketing teams, you will be responsible for procurement of PR, Social, Communications & Events across all Expedia brands globally.

Using your procurement experience, and leveraging your category knowledge, you will work directly with the marketing teams at all levels of Expedia.

In this role, you will be expected to develop & deliver an effective procurement strategy and conduct activities such as RFP's, effective negotiations of commercials & agreements, and ongoing vendor management to deliver continuous savings, performance & process improvement for the Marketing and Brands teams.

Act as a trusted adviser, and subject matter expert, leading marketing sourcing and procurement projects.

These projects often involve working across multiple brands, as well as multiple geographies, to develop one Expedia solution wherever possibleBuild the strategy to optimize our partner portfolio spanning all types of marketing services across Expedia Brands with a focus on PR, Social, Communications and EventsAct as the collaborator across Expedia brands to bring teams together and influence and Expedia wide solutionFor individual procurement projects, build, communicate, and implement work plans and timelines.

Identify the required supporting efforts, dependencies, or barriers, as well as track and report on progress/issuesDeliver sustainable value by leading negotiations with vendors on the scope of work, commercials & contract, which will involve working with legal, finance, tax and other internal departmentsBe a strategic partner to Marketing teams throughout the sourcing processBuild and maintain vendor relationships to maximize value and to deliver a best-in-class supply chain across multiple marketing spend categoriesSupport the continuous development and evolution of a marketing vendor database, using vendors data to drive efficiencies and effective vendor managementAct as the point of contact for critical issues to both our marketing teams and other areas such as legal, finance, tax, auditPartner with marketing teams to build, moderate to complex service requirements and scope, assist with identifying vendors, manage the entire RFx process, provide vendor evaluation framework and recommendations on vendor selectionDraft and redline commercial components of master purchasing and service contracts, statements of work, and software as a service and licensing agreementsContinue to build on process improvement across Procurement, Legal, Finance and MarketingWho you are:8+ years of experience in marketing and/or procurement/strategic sourcing department supporting an indirect category with contract negotiation and supplier management experience or equivalent industry expertise that includes global scope.

High level technical competence in all core Strategic Sourcing disciplinesStrong skills in Microsoft Office Suite.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field; or equivalent related professional experienceHave a comprehensive understanding of the marketing procurement categoriesEssential knowledge of core procurement fundamentals with a marketing focusGreat teammate and able to work independently while prioritizing their own time and workStrong communication skills; written, verbal and interpersonalIdeally, you are experienced in working in a global business with multiple brandsExperience of redlining contracts and general familiarity with key contract terms is essentialA leader in establishing and maintaining business partner relationships, including influencing skills are essential and rising to the challenge when looking after demanding business partnersCapable of working with abstract concepts and presenting simply and clearly to othersStrong problem-solving, lateral thinking, project management, planning organizational and interpersonal skillsDriven by financial targets and value creationStrong skills in Microsoft Office Suite#LI-MK1The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $155,000 to $217, Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $248,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
