One customer experience that we're looking to take to a new level is how we develop and deliver client hardware to Amazonians.
Our goal is to exceed expectations of our internal customers by ensuring they have the tools, technologies, and products available where and when they need them.
Amazon IT Services is looking for a creative leader with a strong background in client hardware product management to define product strategies, own product roadmaps, and deliver results.
In this role, you will be at the forefront of customer interactions across the full breadth of Amazon businesses, surrounded by smart people who are passionate to set the World Class Customer Experience Standard.
Key job responsibilitiesCreate product strategies for IT Services products (internal-facing customers)
Manage cradle-to-grave product lifecycles, from customer research, through strategic planning and roadmaps, to launch, product adoption, and customer satisfaction metrics
Partner with security, devices, and hardware sourcing to deliver products based on roadmaps
Launch the product vision, strategy, and roadmap and work with key stakeholders to deliver on that vision, e.g. partner teams, international site leaders, strategic program owners, and the IT Services leadership team
Responsible for the go-to-market plan and product enablement, working to ensure that internal teams have what they need to be successful
Partner on marketing campaigns to create awareness and increase product adoption
Define product goals and monitor key performance metrics to identify opportunities and improve product performance
Identify and research opportunities for IT Services to innovate on behalf of Amazonians
A day in the life
You will interact directly with internal customers across Amazon, understanding their ways of working, how they are most productive, and how to define our hardware catalogue to support their needs.
Internal partners will range from sourcing and support, to engineering and development. You will influence external partner product features and roadmaps.About the team
IT Services Client Hardware Product Management defines hardware strategy, standards, and policies.
CHPM qualifies and onboards client hardware to increase the productivity potential of Amazonians, drives hardware lifecycle strategies, and introduction and deprecation programs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Knowledge of security authentication protocols.
- Experience in manufacturing processes and dependencies.
- Experience implementing hybrid work environments
- Product and technical leadership for enterprisescale strategic initiatives
- Strong presence and ability to interface with senior leaders
- Customer Service, Operations, and/or Business Process Optimization experience

The base pay for this position ranges from $121,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market.
Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
