Position Overview:

This role involves overseeing the strategic planning and management of accessory product lines from concept to optimizing profitability, while aligning with marketing, financial, and corporate growth goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop short and long-term strategic product plans for broadloom samples and execute actions for desired outcomes.
  • Implement pricing and profit margin strategies to achieve annual financial targets.
  • Manage SKU life cycles including recommendations for new product introductions and deletions.
  • Create product positioning, go-to-market forecasts, and pricing recommendations.
  • Lead new sample vehicle development for product launches and manage quality or product issues.
  • Build relationships with sales management and internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in National and Regional Conventions/Shows, with occasional travel required.
  • Ensure product plans are executed timely, meeting financial goals and target dates.
  • Deliver product presentations and sales tools to internal and external partners.
  • Handle special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field with 5 years of sales or product marketing experience in flooring or building products industry.
  • Knowledge of flooring or building products industry and competitive landscape.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and previous project management experience.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and foster team collaboration.
Skills:
  • Ability to influence and promote teamwork across all organizational levels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation abilities with good prioritization and delegation skills.
  • Proven leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
