Are you a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator with a passion for excellence in elder care? We're seeking an experienced professional to lead our facility in delivering the highest standards of care while fostering a culture of compassion and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example, addressing concerns and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Collaborate with all departments and corporate office, embracing feedback for improvement.
  • Cultivate a culture of compassions, respect, and exceptional customer service.
  • Build strong relationships with staff, residents, families, vendors, and consultants to ensure customer and staff satisfaction.
  • Motivate and manage all staff through effective communication and feedback.
  • Maintain a focus on continuous improvement, prioritizing resident care.
  • Plan, develop, and oversee facility operations within budgetary requirements and quality standards.
  • Ensures that all written policies, procedures, and manuals are maintained, updated, and followed.
  • Mediates and resolves operating conflicts. Completes reports and evaluations within stated time frames.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement program.
  • Implements actions to correct deficiencies per state and federal guidelines.
  • Identifies the operational needs of the facility including but not limited to equipment needs and facility improvements, utilizing the Capital Expenditure process as needed.
  • Manages the allocation of resources in accordance with the planned budget and changing needs of the facility, ensuring every department understands their budget.
  • Oversees the marketing and public relations activities of the facility to ensure maximum utilization of resources in order to achieve census goals.
  • Responsible for the oversight or the direct hiring of qualified staff, ensuring adequate staffing levels and approving rates of pay or salary, communicating any recommendations to the Corporate Office.
  • Provides directions, guidance, and counseling to the management staff in the appropriate execution of human resource responsibilities.
  • Reviews personnel complaints and ensures that all personnel are treated fairly and consistently with policies and applicable laws.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state Administrators license in good standing.
  • Compliance with federal and state licensure requirements.
  • Demonstrated leadership in long term care facilities.
  • Innovative problem solving skills with a customer centric focus.
  • Knowledgeable of long-term care regulations and practices
  • Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
  • Patient, tactful, and positive attitude to all staff, residents, and families.
