Covenant Living Communities and Services is seeking qualified candidates for Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses (LPNs/LVNs) to help us fulfill our mission of creating joy and peace of mind for our residents and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor staff performance, physician contact, care planning, and daily resident observation to ensure quality care is delivered.
- Provide direct care to residents according to nursing standards of practice, standard procedures, and established State and Federal regulations for skilled nursing facilities.
- Assist in the orientation of new LPN/LVNs and nursing assistants and reinforce training standards to maintain a high quality of care.
- Communicate with the Nurse Manager or Director of Nursing regarding observations, suggestions, and problem areas.
- Observe and evaluate residents' health, mental, and emotional conditions and communicate significant changes to appropriate staff.
- Graduate of an approved school of licensed practical/vocational nursing.
- Current license, in good standing, as an LPN/LVN in the State.
- One year nursing experience.
- Devotion to standards and principles of professional nursing.
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
