Project Kuiper is in search of a creative and proactive Senior HR Business Partner to support its rapidly expanding Commercial division.

In this role, you will collaborate with Executives (L8+) overseeing business development and operations teams across various locations worldwide. Working alongside HR Partners, you will offer structured and on-demand HR assistance to managers ranked L4-7.

This position is a blend of strategic planning and hands-on involvement.
You will be tasked with enhancing organizational structure, workforce optimization, talent nurturing, employee growth, and engagement.

To excel in this capacity, you must align with the company's business objectives and translate them into HR imperatives.

Your role involves foreseeing potential challenges through data-backed proposals for new ventures and refining existing programs to enhance team output, staff retention, and overall employee satisfaction.

Your success hinges on your business proficiency, adept executive coaching, strong communication aptitude, and adept project management and planning proficiencies. Equally significant is your ability to juggle multiple priorities, manage conflicting views, and facilitate decisions that are in the best interests of both the employees and the business amidst uncertain and fast-changing circumstances.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute HR strategies and interventions to drive people-focused initiatives and deliver breakthroughs for the global specialist unit.


  • Collaborate with senior management and their respective teams to devise a talent roadmap that can sustain the company's exponential growth and foster a conducive work environment for employee progress.
  • In close coordination with specialized central HR units and diverse HR counterparts at regional and global levels, keep a sharp focus on evaluating HR requisites in areas such as performance tracking, talent recruitment, career progression, diversity, and remuneration schemes.
  • Act as an advisor and confidant to key executives and their units; engage in strategic deliberations to translate business demands into actionable HR strategies.
  • Work in tandem with business leaders on structural design, workforce scheduling, succession mapping, skills profiling, and training initiatives.
  • Scrutinize and interpret business metrics, encompassing data on staff retention and workforce experience, to suggest systemic enhancements.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to manage our Organization and Leadership Review, emphasizing succession strategies, talent grooming, and organizational vitality priorities.
  • Extend support on salary structuring, encompassing payroll planning, validation of salary adjustments, promotions, and job ranking adjustments.
  • Engage with line managers and staff to resolve various staff relations matters, ensuring fair and equitable representation of all viewpoints.
  • Team up with the talent acquisition department to develop systematic and scalable recruitment schemes that can foster a sustainable reservoir of talent. The role may require domestic and international travel as and when required.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent blend of education and experience
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a senior HR generalist role
  • Demonstrated sound judgment and a track record in mentoring top-tier executives.
  • Substantial exposure and specific expertise in human resource theories, covering employee relationships, learning mechanisms, and performance supervision.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills; adept at producing high-quality documents, visualizing data effectively, and facilitating group interactions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration (MBA)
Extensive proficiency through a minimum of 5 years of experience as a strategic partner, spearheading organizational transformation endeavors and devising talent development strategies for global team setups

  • Prior engagement in the technology or sales sectors
  • Exposure to complex matrix-based organizational structures
  • Track record of directing global HR initiatives and associated change management efforts
  • Skilled in diagnosing challenges and devising appropriate strategic remedies proactively
  • Ability to refine strategies and garner consensus by influencing and collaborating with varied organizational echelons

Our remuneration structure is designed to account for labor variances across multiple U.S. demographics.

The foundational compensation for this role ranges from $117,000 annually in markets with lower cost to $193,400 annually in high-priced regions.

Remuneration is contingent on several factors, encompassing geographical placement, besides being subject to variations hinging on job-specific expertise, competencies, and experience levels.
