**Job Title: Material Planner at Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing**

**About the Role:**

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a skilled Material Planner to join our team at Project Kuiper. As a Material Planner, you will play a critical role in managing material schedules, collaborating on process improvements, and ensuring efficient material planning.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Manage Material Schedules and Exceptions:**
    • Monitor and analyze material requirements to ensure accurate scheduling and exception management.
  • **Assess and Incorporate MRP Recommendations:**
    • Evaluate and implement MRP recommendations to optimize material planning and reduce costs.
  • **Monitor Production Work Orders and Manage Shortages:**
    • Track and manage production work orders to ensure timely delivery and minimize shortages.
  • **Improve Reorder Points for Stock Availability:**
    • Analyze and optimize reorder points to ensure optimal stock levels and reduce stockouts.
  • **Identify and Resolve Data Quality Issues:**
    • Investigate and resolve data quality issues to ensure accurate material planning and reporting.
  • **Deliver Exceptional Customer Experience:**
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer experience and meet business objectives.
  • **Prepare Data-Driven Reviews for Management:**
    • Develop and present data-driven reports to management to inform business decisions and drive improvement.
  • **Create SOPs for Transaction Processing:**
    • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for transaction processing to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • **Engage in Short, Medium, and Long-Range Planning Activities:**
    • Participate in short, medium, and long-range planning activities to ensure alignment with business objectives and drive strategic growth.

**Basic Qualifications:**

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in industry and/or academia
  • 2+ years of experience in supply chain operations
  • 2+ years of experience in SAP (S4Hanna)
  • 2+ years of experience with inventory management

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Curiosity to learn new skills and technologies
  • Proven track record of diving into unknown territory and learning new concepts
