Job Description

The responsibilities of the Stationary Systems Chief Engineer include:

Lead the engineering team to accomplish top quarterly prioritiesDevelopment and growth of the engineering teamTake new product ideas from concept through the engineering process to final designCoordinate new product designs with manufacturing department and tool/die vendorsEstablish and maintain design standards, checklists, and procedures for standard productsOversee the development and maintenance of bills of materialsEvaluate design changes for feasibility and integrityPerform competitive analyses on competitors' productsAssist the sales department on technical issuesProducts are designed according to marketing specifications, proper engineering practices, applicable design codes & standards, and economic & manufacturability parametersEngineering and design information for products is properly developed, documented, and maintainedDivisional quarterly top priorities are metOther duties as assigned

Qualifications

Thorough understanding of:Mechanical, Structural or Civil engineering Conveyor design and applicationsCEMA specifications and standardsManufacturing processes such as (machining, welding, forming, and stamping)Commonly used software packages including: AutoCAD, Solid works, MS Office, Salesforce and Google WorkspaceAble to excel as a team leaderExcellent communication skillsExcellent organizational skillsEffective project management skills
