Job DescriptionPrimary Duties & Responsibilities- Assisting with research studies, experiments, and assays, including data collection, solution preparation, and equipment maintenance.
- Conducting data entry and managing research data files.
- Preparing tissue cultures, reagents, and probe tests.
- Adhering to safety procedures and maintaining documentation on laboratory conditions.
- Ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of lab equipment following established protocols.
- Supporting general lab upkeep and cleanliness.
- Performing other assigned duties.
This role involves working in a laboratory environment with potential exposure to biological and chemical risks. The individual must be capable of wearing protective gear and caring for research animals.
Preferred Qualifications- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively within a laboratory setting.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Proficiency in using computer software and general laboratory equipment.
Bachelor's degree and up to 1 year of laboratory experience, or an equivalent combination totaling 4 years of education and experience.
Salary and GradeR06-H
Salary Range: $25.92 / Hourly
