Position Overview:



  • Provide support, supervision, documentation, and coordination of the South Central IT Technical Services/Help Desk department and functions (including GIA office locations) working closely with GIA IT resources for identified projects.
  • Lead and oversee the assigned technology functions focusing on security in collaboration with GI Alliance IT leadership.
  • Collaborate with GI Alliance IT leadership on enterprise projects and represent the South Central region as an integral team member.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Assess and execute IT procedures and equipment to enhance efficiency and control costs.
  • Propose and strategize information technology solutions to align with company goals based on thorough research and evaluation.
  • Manage the implementation and operation of new/upgraded information systems with clear plans including procedures, timelines, and accountability.
  • Supervise, document, and prioritize the tasks of team members including justifying new resources, maintaining support systems, and organizational structure.
  • Collaborate with external vendors/technologies/providers to oversee current solutions and explore potential enhancements.
  • Implement processes established by Executive management and regulatory bodies accordingly.
  • Ensure users receive professional, respectful, and prompt support and service.
  • Lead, train, and develop IT staff to optimize performance.
  • Stay updated on trends and regulations to ensure efficiency and adherence.
  • Support company Disaster Recovery and Security Plan.
  • Design/select and provide user training as needed.
  • Fulfill other relevant duties as delegated by management.


Requirements:



Education:

Extensive experience in IT or a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or similar. MBA is a plus.

Experience:

At least 10 years of experience in IT, Security, and project management with previous supervisory roles.

  • Information systems development and implementation knowledge.
  • Effective problem analysis and resolution at strategic and operational levels.
